| Hush-Hush was one of the many popular gossip and scandal magazines published in the 1950s and 1960s, much in the vein of the more popular Confidential Magazine. With the tagline "What You Don't Know About People You Know", many of the articles focused on the lurid lives of the Hollywood elite: interracial sex, suspected homosexuality, affairs, and drug use by the stars. More mundane features about sunken treasure, wonder diets, and miracle cures also abound. |
