Due to circumstances, this website will no longer be updated or maintained after July 1999. Other interests, occupations, and limited time to maintain this site have made this necessary. I hope you all enjoyed this site throughout the years--over 80,000 hits since 1996! Thanks for visiting, be sure to check out the other sites. Long live the Plasmatics!

more info on wendy's death

The Plasmatics and their lead singer, Wendy O. Williams, were arguably one of the best punk/metal/rock bands of the late 1970's and early '80s. Their influence, while rarely acknowledged, can be found in a plethora of bands throughout these genres. Formed in 1978 in New York City, the Plasmatics were extremely popular with their select fans, filling venues throughout the USA and the rest of the world. My goal in establishing this unofficial website was to try and expose the common, and more esoteric, information available about this ground-breaking band. I welcome any and all contributions or corrections - this is your website, too. Explore and enjoy...
