Living Dead Back before Rammstein ever set themselves on fire or Marilyn Manson even thought of resurrecting schock-rock, there was Wendy O. Williams. Some 20 years after her band, the Plasmatics, made their debut at CBGB's, the New York punk club paid tribute to the recently deceased singer with a May 18 memorial service. In addition to testimonials and video footage of Williams lighting up stages (and blowing up cars), the invitation-only event included gospel performances, a set by tribute band New Hope for the Plasmatics, and a reunion of the original Plasmatics lineup (shown above), pous two later band members, performing "Tight Black Pants," "Living Dead" and other old favorites.
